Accountability Buddy Feature
Unglue includes an optional Accountability Buddy feature that allows users to receive support from a trusted friend. When enabled, Unglue may send text message notifications to your Accountability Buddy when you open a blocked app during a scheduled blocking period. This feature uses Twilio-powered SMS messaging and requires explicit user consent through our in-app opt-in process.
All SMS communications are:
- Opt-in only (users must explicitly agree)
- Functional notifications only (no marketing or promotional content)
- Easy to opt-out (recipients can reply STOP at any time)
- Fully compliant with SMS regulations
